Measurement of Temperature | Temperature measurement by color

Thermometry: The thermometry is the branch of temperature measurement, which discusses the strategies of measuring the temperature at 510০ C and below. The tool used in this purpose that is a thermometer. There have many types of thermometer.

Pyrometry: Pyrometry is the branch of temperature measurement, which discusses the strategies of measuring the temperature at 510০ C and above it is called pyrometry, and the tool used in this purpose is called pyrometer. There has a different type of pyrometer. The mercury thermometer, which is used usually, can be measured from -39০ till +350০ C temperature.

How to Temperature measurement by color?

It is very easy to determine the temperature by observing hot metal’s color. There is a moderate relationship between the metal’s temperature and color, which is given in the following list. Without an unwise person, the temperature idea can be given by observing the color of hot metal.
